Being a parent in a digital world is quite a challenge. Many of us didn’t grow up with a smartphone attached to our hip. Tweeting was something we heard from the birds. Facebook meant you were reading…with your FACE… in a BOOK. Instagram? Nope…we had Polaroid. While the Internet has put libraries of information at our fingertips, it has also allowed the dangers we once avoided directly into our living room…and in our children’s hands.
We will reveal FREE tools YOU can use to combat threats before they even enter your home, including Internet monitoring and blocking. We will talk about maintaining safety when using social media, gaming systems, and popular consumer products.
By exposing tricks used by identity thieves we will discover how to protect ourselves. We will even discuss malicious software that is attacking your computer and show how you can defend yourself…and your wallet…from these dangers!
